I am so pissed at the post office right now. Let me explain....
In my cul-de sac of houses, we have locked post office mailboxes. They are pretty big and it is set in a centralized place. Next to it, are two oversized lock boxes, where they put packages that won't fit in our boxes. They leave the key in our box and so we know we have a package.
I ordered a calculator for my Mom off ebay, to replace the cover of the one she loves, the calculater didn't work. It states that it was delivered on Dec 1st at 2:45pm.
I didn't get it. So, I called them, asking about the package. They stated that they did leave a package on the front porch for us, around that time.
I told them I never recieved the package. They told me that per the tracking on it, it was delivered to us. I asked why would they deliver something so small to our front porch and not put it in the locked mailboxes. They stated that they delivered it to the front porch and if it was stolen after it arrived there, then it is out of their hands. They then hung up on me.

An uninsured parcel may not be left in an unprotected place, such as a porch or stairway, unless the addressee has filed a written order, or the mailer has endorsed the parcel "Carrier—Leave If No Response." The endorsement must appear directly below the return address as specified in 402.2.0 and 402.3.0.
So, basically, they violated federal law and my package is lost, so is the money. I called to complain about my treatment and the irregular delivery patterns around here. I should be getting a call back in a couple days from the USPS. I know it can't be rectified, since the parcel is gone, but I'm pissed.
The calculater was one of the first calculators out, that Texas Instruments built. It was a TI-1750 with case. Mom has one, it still works and she loves it, but the case is falling apart. I happen to find it on ebay and snagged one, with a case. Spent like $8 with shipping.
I have found another, but its $25 and I just don't have the money now to get it. Just makes me mad, that this simple thing is lost, because of idiots at the post office.

I have been loosing weight lately, with a diet change and a change in my medication. I am working hard at it, but in my past, nobody ever gave me encouragement or told me I looked nice.
Well, I will say that I got the best compliment that a girl could ever get from her man. To have your fiance', grab your hand and drag you into the bedroom. To have him tear off your shirt and then hook his fingers on the belt loop of your jeans and pulls. My pants came off, still buttoned and zipped. I started off in size 26 jeans, the jeans he pulled off were 24. Now that is a confidence booster for loosing weight, let alone getting ravaged in the middle of the day. LOL
